New D&D Books and Gifts Coming This Fall from Penguin Random House

Publishers Ten Speed Press and Clarkson Potter (both of which are owned by Penguin Ranom House) have just announced a new lineup of official Dungeons & Dragons titles scheduled for release throughout the Fall of 2026.

The upcoming collection features new fiction and non-fiction releases designed for both players and Dungeon Masters, including a class-themed cookbook, a map-making board set modeled after an iconic monster, an official pop manga adult coloring book and an in-depth lore dive into one the game’s most iconic antagonists.

Coming: September 15th, 2026

Price: $40 USD

What is it: Written by the authors behind the bestselling Heroes’ Feast and Heroes’ Feast Flavors of the Multiverse D&D cookbooks, this new entry in the series features 80 recipes designed by real world chefs. Each recipe is focused on a specific D&D class and uses accessible ingredients you can find in your home or at the grocery store.

Coming: October 13th, 2026

Price: $27.99 USD

What is it: This unique keepsake box is designed to resemble D&D’s iconic block of acidic ooze: the Gelatinous Cube. Inside, the set contains four foldable, dry-erase boards that open up to measure 12.75” x 8.5” each. They are built specifically for Dungeon Masters and players to quickly sketch out maps, terrains and tactical encounters on the fly.

Price: $50 USD

What is it: Written by novelist and former D&D editor Erin M. Evans (who is perhaps best known for her Brimstone Angels series), the book explores the art and lore of Dungeons & Dragons’s most iconic villains and anti-heroe, including Tiamat, Vecna, Strahd, Halaster Blackcloak, Lolth, Xanathar, Demogorgon and additional sinister figures from across the D&D multiverse.

Final Thoughts

Penguin Random House has definitely been increasing the number of new D&D books they’ve been releasing, with the company recently announcing a whole new line up of Baldur’s Gate 3 tie-ins. We’ll be keeping a close eye on these other new titles in the weeks ahead and will do a complete review of all them closer to launch.
